STEP ONE

Sit in groups of THREE. 

Resources:    1 Tablet PC,   3 Worksheets, pens & pencils

Instructions:  Use the resources to find answers to the questions.    Write the answers on your worksheet.  You must ALL have a copy of the completed worksheet.

Make sure that you write complete sentences for your answers.

 STEP TWO - PhotoStory

In your groups of three, make a Photostory about the digestive system

The photos, titles & music have already been added.  You must complete the photostory.  Follow the steps carefully:

1.  Decide who will record the different parts:  mouth & esophagus / stomach / pancreas & gall bladder  /  liver / small intestine / large intestine.  You should have 2 parts each

NOTE:  You do not need to change anything on the first two steps in Photostory.  ("Import and arrange your pictures" & "Add a title to your pictures".)   These 2 steps have been finished for you.  Go to Step Three in PhotoStory

2.  "Narrate your pictures" - step 3 in PhotoStory.  Here you must record your information about each body part.  FIRST - write some notes about what you will record in the box - the "mouth & esophagus" has been done for you.  SECOND - record your voice onto PhotoStory.  Do this for all 6 body parts

3.  "Add background music" - this has been done for you.  You do not need to change this.

4.  "Save your story for playback on your computer"  You need to save as a WMV file to playback in Windows Media Player.  Save your photostory to your desktop then upload to K-Net.  One person will have to log on to K-Net.

5.  UPLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

  • One person from your group will log-in to K-Net.
  • Go to: Student Site / Classes / Shared Documents
  • Upload your PhotoStory.
